Guys, after speaking to Davey Briggs, I mentioned that I could create a social website for the club using a tool which I have used for other purposes and found really useful.

This is not a web site in the strict sense - its a social networking forum. The great thing about this is that all members can contribute, placing video and photos themselves. Members can also add their own events in addition to official club dates and invite friends along - making communication about trips so much easier. There are also loads of options for creating blogs and forums too. I just made up the logo - but you can add a real one too...

I don't benefit from this in any way - its just a good tool and I will gladly help pass the knowledge on to who ever will adminiter the site if you want to. Just let me know!
